The Howard-Suamico School District (HSSD) is proud to announce the launch of the Pirate Partnership, an initiative connecting local businesses with students through meaningful, real-world career experiences. The program offers three levels of engagement: Explore, Engage, and Advance – allowing companies to tailor their participation to fit their time, resources, and goals.
Through the Pirate Partnership, businesses gain community recognition, access to emerging local talent, and the opportunity to help shape a future-ready workforce. Participation can range from short-term activities like job shadows to in-depth collaborations that influence curriculum and career preparation.

The Howard-Suamico School District serves students from preschool through high school across the Green Bay area and is committed to preparing them for college, careers, and life. The Pirate Partnership embodies this mission by strengthening community connections and ensuring graduates leave with the skills and professional exposure needed for success in today’s workforce.
Local businesses are encouraged to register at the Explore, Engage, or Advance level based on their preferred involvement. Whether hosting a short job shadow or mentoring through a year-long project, your participation helps bridge classroom learning with real-world outcomes and strengthens the local workforce pipeline.
