Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers around the world then redistribute the donated goods to over 49 developing countries. The Howard-Suamico Lions Club currently has free collection buckets in businesses along Riverview Drive, Glendale Avenue, Cardinal Lane H-S Lions recycle eyeglasses

After 19 years of dedicated service, Howard-Suamico School District (HSSD) Superintendent Damian LaCroix will retire at the completion of the 2023-24 school year. The Board of Education accepted LaCroix’s retirement at the September 11 Board of Education meeting. The Howard-Suamico Optimists have awarded two $1,000.00 scholarships this year. Amelia Arndt and Chloe Hansen each were awarded a $1,000 scholarship. They were selected based on overall achievements in school and the community and extracurricular achievements.
