Suamico Church is hosting free Uke & Guitar jam sessions in their yard located at 3266 Lakeview Drive in Suamico. The jam sessions are held on Mondays from June 30 through August 18 starting at 7:00 p.m. Bring a chair, bring an instrument, sing and listen and play along. On May 6th, the Howard-Suamico Optimist Club celebrated their 14th annual Law Week Appreciation Lunch at the 1951 West in Howard. Several members were invited from the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and the Howard and Suamico Fire Departments. Kate Mann, Executive Director for the REACH-A-Child Organization, was presented with a donation of $500 to help H-S Optimists support local first responders

For several seasons, The Green Bay Rockers of the Northwoods Baseball League have occasionally featured a bat dog during games – dogs trained to retrieve bats Practical Obedience trains bat dogs for summer baseball games

Culinary Arts students at Bay Port High School have had a unique opportunity to learn professional culinary skills through a partnership with Sergeant Joseph Lach, a chef in the United States Army. The partnership was coordinated by Bay Port instructor Betsy Ferrebee, who invited Sergeant Lach to join her class after meeting him during a Army & Culinary Arts
