November marks the one year anniversary of Dr. Dave the Barber being located at Sola Salon of Howard located at 2450 Velp Avenue behind McDonald’s.
“It has been a rewarding year”, Wickert said. “Look good, feel good”, Wickert added. Everyone feels better after a fresh haircut.
Dr. Dave’s friend Lori, left her cooperate job to take a much less paying, but more rewarding job at St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter in Green Bay. She gave me the inspiration to help the homeless men, “Look good, feel good” Wickert said. So, in November of 2017, Dr. Dave the Barber started giving free haircuts to the homeless men twice a month.
To celebrate his first anniversary, Dr. Dave will donate $2 from each hair cut during the month of November to St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter. Dr. Dave is appreciative to the many customers who made his first year at Sola Salon of Howard rewarding. Dr. Dave’s clients’ continued business during November will help the many homeless men of Green Bay, “Look good, feel good”.
