Good Shepherd Lutheran Church along with Cyber Green will be doing an electronic recycling day on Saturday, July 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The event will be at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Howard, located at 2736 Glendale Avenue in the village of Howard.
Some of the items that can be recycled include laptops, cell phones, wires and cables, stereos, telephone systems, keyboards, modems, appliances and much more. Computer monitors and TV’s can also be brought in for recycling, however there is a fee charged for these items.
A discount will be available for “fee” items with a donation of schools supplies. Most needed items include 1” and 2” three ring binders and various markers, especially dry erase markers.
All the proceeds and school supplies collected during this event will benefit The Giving Tree school supply drive which serves more than 400 students.
