Three years ago, the Howard-Suamico Lions contacted the Village of Suamico to inquire about starting an Adopt a Road program. The Lions adopted Velp Avenue from Lineville Road to White Pine Road. They recently had their annual road clean up day. Pictured above are a few of the members of the Howard-Suamcio Lions who participated in the clean-up.
