On May 6th, the Howard-Suamico Optimist Club celebrated their 14th annual Law Week Appreciation Lunch at the 1951 West in Howard. Several members were invited from the Brown County Sheriff’s Department and the Howard and Suamico Fire Departments. Kate Mann, Executive Director for the REACH-A-Child Organization, was presented with a donation of $500 to help replenish Children’s books. These books are carried in units helping first responders comfort children-in-crisis.
