The Brown County Sheriff’s Department/Howard Police and Howard Fire Rescue invite the community to visit with them from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on August 6, 2025, at Howard Commons Activities Complex located at 550 Commons Place in Howard, to share some fun at National Night Out.
The event is an annual outreach campaign that promotes police and community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help keep our village a safe place to live.
There will be many family-friendly activities and demonstrations throughout the night. Boy Scout Troop #1033 will be fundraising through food sales, and there will also be ice cream and sweet treats for sale. The evening’s activities include:
• Brown County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) K9 Unit demonstration
• BCSO SWAT Vehicle
• Eagle III Helicopter (6:00 p.m.)
• Fire Safety House
• Fire Truck tours
• Animal Control information
• Dunk tank
• Bounce House
• Face Painting
• Food Trucks
• Many other fun activities
