At a weekly Howard-Suamico Optimist lunch meeting at 1951 West, the Howard-Suamico Optimist Club presented a check in the amount of $750.00 to Student and Family Engagement Coordinator, Kourtney Feldhausen to use for The Giving Tree — student assistance program & food pantry in the Howard-Suamico School District. This donation is being used to provide winter apparel for students. Snow pants, boots and waterproof mittens and gloves have already been provided to students in five elementary schools, students at Lineville Intermediate in grades 5 and 6 plus multiple 4k sites in Howard-Suamico.
