Students of all ages and belt ranks collected pledges to break boards and bricks in a recent Kim’s Tae Kwon Do Fundraiser Breaking Marathon. Donations raised benefited Brown County Coalition for Suicide Prevention in the amount of $10,500 and Our Pack Animal Rescue in the amount of $3,500. Master Penny Duggan, the school’s head instructor said, “All the honor goes to those who donated money, collected pledges, contributed to the bakery, silent auctions and food sales”.
The fundraiser is held every November during Kim’s Tae Kwon Do Center’s annual tournament. For more information on Kim’s Tae Kwon Do Center, please visit kims-tkd.com or send an email to kimstkdgb@gmail.com.
