Students of all ages and ranks competed in Forms (patterns), Board Breaking & Free Sparring. Four tournament rings with different age groups competed at the same time. Over 35 black belts attended the tournament to compete, judge and/or score keep.

“It was 1975 when I first competed in Grand Master Kim’s tournament in Green Bay,” said Master Penny Duggan, the school’s owner. “For the past 32 years I have been the tournament director. It’s a lot of planning and organizing but worth the effort for the students. What makes it special is that we also host a fundraiser during the tournament.”

This year’s fundraiser benefited two local charities; Laundry Love of Brown County and Frontline Harvest Ministries. We raised just over $17,100 that they will share.
At the tournament, Master Penny Duggan announced that the month of December 2025 will be free/no charge for new students to take Tae Kwon Do Lessons at the Redeemer School Gym location. A signed waiver form and comfy clothes are required for kicking, punching and blocking. Must be age 7 and above. More information call 920-434-2326 email kimstkdgb@gmail.com or visit kims-tkd.com.
