Seventh Grade Bay Port Boys Tournament Basketball Team sold baked goods at a recent Harley-Davidson event. Team members at the event included Blake Thieme, Caleb Gash, Brock Gorzelanczyk, Henry Schreiner, Vince Vandervest, Trevor VandenHeuvel and Jackson Yanda.
Vandervest Harley-Davidson sponsored free lunch to over 400 Harley-Davidson riders. The State (H.O.G.) Harley Owners Group rally was held in Milwaukee labor day weekend. Harley-Davidson put together some routes for riders. One of the routes was to tour Lambeau Field, the Packer Hall of Fame and Vandervest Harley-Davidson-Green Bay. The Packerland HOG Chapter of Green Bay donated their time to help work the event.
Parents of a Bay Port basketball league took advantage of a fundraiser idea and added baked goods to sell.
Vandervest Harley-Davidson also donated chili and nachos for them to sell. They made $800 and Vandervest pitched in another $200 for a $1,000 donation to the team.
