The Greater Green Bay YMCA is excited to announce the recent opening of a new YMCA facility in Suamico that opened September 3, 2024. This is the sixth location for the Greater Green Bay YMCA, extending its reach to one of the fastest-growing communities in Wisconsin.
The new facility is located in the Urban Edge Towne Centre at 2304 Lineville Road Suite 125 in Suamico. It offers a wide range of amenities designed to promote health, wellness, and community engagement, including:
• Wellness Center: Enjoy increased functional spaces, a robust free-weight selection, and Myzone technology. Equipped with the latest fitness equipment, personalized wellness programs, and personal training, with plans for 24/7 access in the future.
• Group Exercise: A variety of classes to suit all fitness levels and interests.
• Recovery Center: Dedicated spaces and resources for post-exercise recovery and relaxation. Recovery services include a commercial massage chair as well as a hydro-massage table. These unique services are included with a Y membership and can be reserved directly through the Green Bay YMCA mobile app.
• Tween Center: Engaging and safe activities and programs for youth aged eight and up. This new concept will provide e-gaming, arcade-style entertainment and art projects led by a youth specialist dedicated to engaging this age group.
The new location is open to current Greater Green Bay YMCA members and welcomes new members to join and benefit from the diverse range of services and programs offered. The YMCA invites you to come check out the Suamico Y during their business hours of Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
