No plans for Labor Day weekend? Plan on heading down to the Howard Commons Activity Complex! The Glam Band will kick things off on Friday night August 30th by entertaining us on the Amphitheater Stage from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Biergarten and rollerskating rink will be open from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and a variety of food trucks will be ready to serve you dinner.
On Saturday, August 31st the complex grounds will open at 3:00 pm. The Bay Port FFA Alumni and Supporters will be hosting Bingo in the Biergarten from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Cards can be purchased for $1.00 each. Whiskey Ditch will take over the Amphitheater stage from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Biergarten and rollerskating rink will be open from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and food trucks will be on site so no need to worry about dinner.
On Sunday, September 1st the grounds will open at 3:00 p.m. Bay Port FFA Alumni and Supporters will be hosting Bingo in the Biergarten from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The N.E.W. Dueling Pianos will entertain the crowd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the Amphitheater Stage. The evening will close with the annual Fireworks display at approximately 8:15 pm. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs or a picnic blanket and join us on the Great Lawn for this fantastic line-up. A variety of food trucks and sweet treats will add to the atmosphere on Sunday as well. A gentle reminder that carry ins are not allowed. Food and beverages are available on site to ensure that Howard Commons can continue to deliver a variety of entertainment for years to come. Also, please leave your four legged fur babies at home.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 14th for Howard Commons’ 2nd annual Oktoberfest celebration sponsored by Johnson Bank. Come and polka from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Biergarten to the tunes the NEW Generation Polka band will be playing. Visit the food trucks on site for dinner and move your lawn chairs to the Great Lawn to see The Dweebs perform on the Amphitheater Stage from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Fall isn’t complete without an outdoor movie. The Wizard of Oz will be playing on the outdoor movie screen at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21st. A heartfelt thank you to Luxemburg Bank for sponsoring the movie.
Howard Commons will close out their live music line up with Big Mouth on Saturday, September 28th. The Biergarten and rollerskating rink will be open from Noon to 9:00 p.m. and Big Mouth will play from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
