Howard-Suamico Historical Society will hold their semi-annual used book sale on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30 at Ancestry Acres located at 12787 Velp Avenue in Suamico.
In advance of the sale, the Howard-Suamico Historical Society is accepting book donations at this time. Please call Brian at 920-434-3723 or Tim at 920-434-3514 for pickup of books, tapes, puzzles, CDs and DVDs. Items can also be dropped off at Thornberry Cottage or Kimps Ace Hardware.
The $1,000 Howard-Suamico Historical Society Scholarship is again available to any graduating Bay Port senior who will be continuing on to college.
Scholarship chairman Mary Drzewiecki has announced this year’s subject to be Early Churches and Religion in the Howard-Suamico area. Details of the scholarship process are available from Bay Port Student Services. Deadline for submission of the entry is April 4, 2022.
