Kim’s Tae Kwon Do raised money during their recent tournament and fundraiser. Aiden Dohr Leukemia Fund received $8,260 and Jerry Parins “Cruise for Cancer” will receive $7,080.
Students, families and friends donated time, money, talent, silent auctions, and baked goods for the cause. The main event was a board breaking marathon, students collected pledges to break boards in the marathon. Master Penny Duggan, owner of Kim’s Tae Kwon Do said, “This was our 21st annual fundraiser and the most successful. Students look forward to giving back to the community at this event.”
