Suamico Church will be hosting a meal packing event on January 11th from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The church plans to pack meals to feed 12,000 people in disaster zones such as Ukraine and Congo.
Volunteers are welcome, including families and youth. Come and wear a cool hair-net as we prepare meal packs to help neighbors in need. “Meal packing events are an exciting, intergenerational service project that brings our community together as we provide basic food needs for people facing severe hunger situations,” said Pastor Anna-Lisa Hunter. Meals will be distributed by the Midwest Mission Distribution Center in Illinois, a program of the United Methodist Church. The meal packing event will be at Suamico Church located at 3266 Lakeview Drive.
