The Giving Tree is now accepting donations for their annual Holiday Store. New and unwrapped donations should be dropped off by Monday, December 9th. Monetary and gift card donations should be dropped off by Wednesday, December 4th.
The Holiday Store gives families who have been selected based on need and financial hardships the opportunity to shop this holiday season.
How You Can Help
Use the shopping list below to help purchase items for the Holiday Store. Drop off new and unwrapped gifts at the Green Bay Community Church front entrance located at 600 Cardinal Lane in Howard between Sunday, November 10th through Sunday, December 8th. GBCC will be open to accept donations Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings. Please note that GBCC will be closed on November 27th-30th. Donations may also be dropped off at Nicolet National Bank located at 2380 Duck Creek Parkway in Howard Suite 100 in the front lobby between 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Make a cash donation or provide gift cards to Target, Fleet Farm, Walmart, or Meijer. Staff will then purchase additional items for The Holiday Store with the cash, checks, and gift card donations. You may drop these off at GBCC in an envelope marked attn: The Giving Tree by December 4th or by mail to: Howard-Suamico School District, Attn: The Giving Tree, 2706 Lineville Rd, Green Bay, WI 54313 (memo: Holiday Store).
The Holiday Store shopping list ideas for teens, which is the largest age group, include bath and body products for females, Old Spice and Axe body products, cosmetics, eye shadow, nail polish, boys socks, girls long fun socks, boot socks, fuzzy socks, $10.00 gift cards good for coffee, gas, fast food, etc.
The Holiday Store shopping list ideas for boys and girls include Legos, dolls, princess items, board games, art supplies (i.e. scrapbook, craft, projects), sports equipment and balls (i.e. football, soccer balls, basketball, Nerf, etc.), Hot Wheels, other toys, boys long athletic socks, girls long fun socks, boot socks and fuzzy socks.
