The Packerland Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation is excited to announce their first annual scholarship recipients from Bay Port High School’s graduating class of 2021. Olivia D’Souza — UW-Madison, Macey Goodrich — St. Norbert College) and Keegan Mepyans — UW-Green Bay. The club wishes all three the best as they continue their education.
One of Rotary’s goals is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults. Recipients of this scholarship were chosen based on financial need, community service, and their educational and career goals.
The students received their scholarships at the 4th Annual Puttin’ for a Purpose miniature golf outing. This annual fundraiser supports the Packerland Sunrise Rotary Club Foundation which sponsors humanitarian causes locally and internationally, including — Supporting Education, Promoting Peace, Saving Mothers and Children, Fighting Disease (including End Polio Now), Providing Clean Water, and Growing Local Economies.
