The outdoor rinks at Pinewood Park in the Village of Howard consist of two ice sheets. The main rink which is 200’ x 85’ is enclosed with hockey boards and fencing, which make it ideal for hockey use.
The second smaller rink has no boards or fencing and is intended for general use. Both rinks have lights for night time use.
The warming shelter at the Pinewood Park Outdoor Rink is normally open on weeknights from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and weekends from noon to 9:00 p.m. when the ice rink is open. These hours may vary due to weather or ice conditions and warming shelter staffing availability. Flooding and maintenance occur from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each weekday.
