The Howard Suamico School District is thrilled to announce that Bay Port band teacher Ashley Siegrist has been nominated for the Manilow Music Teacher Award.
The Manilow Music Teacher Award recognizes an outstanding music teacher who helps to bring music to life for their students. Manilow Music Teacher Award recipients receive $10,000 — a $5,000 cash prize and a $5,000 Manilow Bucks credit. If Mrs. Siegrist wins the award, the $5,000 Manilow Bucks credit would be used to purchase instruments for the Bay Port band program.
Additionally, if Mrs. Siegrist is the big winner, she will be invited to an upcoming Barry Manilow concert in Green Bay on July 29th along with nine guests and would be presented her award in a special backstage meet and greet.
