There was one thing Christine Herman, owner of Willow Clothing Co., did not plan for in 2020 — a worldwide pandemic. Unfortunately, the pandemic shut her former location in Suamico down for two months. Fortunately, Willow had their website up and running when the closure hit.
Online sales soared and the back room in the former location turned into a warehouse for online orders.
Once businesses were allowed to open back up, Christine saw a change in purchasing behavior from her customers — many more were shopping online. Noticing a need to offer customers a shopping opportunity from their own home or in-store, it was then she decided that they needed a different space that would allow to have a both a retail shop plus an online fulfillment area.
The perfect space opened on October 3rd at 13382 Velp Avenue Suite C in Suamico. The space has a more open feel and gives customers the perfect opportunity to browse through the shop comfortably and safely with social distancing and allows for an online fulfillment area for her employees.
