Each year the Howard-Suamico Historical Society gives a Bay Port senior, who will be attending college, a $1000.00 scholarship. Part of the application process includes an essay written by the applicant on the history of Howard and/or Suamico. Each year the topic is chosen by the Howard-Suamico Historical Society Scholarship Committee. This is the 17th year the society is offering the scholarship and the topic is The Early History of Suamico. The Howard-Suamico Historical Society looks for Bay Port seniors that submit an essay, well written, researched and detailed with pictures, concerning the chosen subject. The scholarship award will be given in May 2023. For further information on the scholarship, contact Student Services at Bay Port High School.
