The Packerland Harley Owners Group of Green Bay affiliated with Vandervest Harley-Davidson, donated fleece blankets to the Howard Fire department.
Chapter members gathered together to make blankets to be given out to people in need from a car accident and or a house fire.
When Lynn Vandervest called JoAnn Fabrics with a budget to purchase fleece, the manager said since the blankets are being donated and we were purchasing so many, they would offer a better discount.
When the ladies dropped off the blankets, the fire department expressed the need for the blankets and were very thankful for them.
Lynn Vandervest and Patty Jacques delivered the blankets the fleece blankets to the Howard Fire Department that will be distributed to those in need.
