The Howard-Suamico Optimist Community Foundation recently presented a check in the amount of $2,000 to benefit Grit 920 which provides individuals of varying abilities the opportunity to train in a safe and supportive environment.
This donation in conjunction with others went to the purchase of four continuous rope pull machines. These machines have multiple settings and can be used in a kneeling, sitting or standing position to be completely adaptive to all of the athletes. Grit 920 is located at 2467 Glendale Avenue in Howard.
