Josephine and siblings Jack and Melanie have all taken turns as managers. Working their way up from host phone helpers to pizza and more. Inspired by Frank’s passion for wanting to open a carry out pizza place.
Finding a location in the Suamico area was a challenge, then found the old Burger Barn with lots of room that is located at 2560 Glendale Avenue in the Village of Howard.

The all day hours have changed over the years from seven days a week to now five. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Dine in, carry out, caterings and weddings. Delivery still offered through some food apps such as Slice, Door Dash and EatStreet. Beer, wine and basic bar, 14” take ‘n bake pizzas and now quick grab 12” frozen pizzas are also offered.
Josephine’s daughter has carried on son Jack’s hot dog stand tradition. Angelina and her friends — The Wiener Wednesday Gang — sell Chicago style Vienna Beef hot dogs every Wednesday throughout the summer from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Josephine’s has been honored with several first place awards from many pizza tasting competitions for Best Sauce, Best crust, Peoples Choice and others. Awarded Best Catered Lunch in Wisconsin by the number one catering website in America.
