Kim’s Tae Kwon Do Center, Inc. raised $12,150 for Breast Cancer Family Foundation.
Students of all ages and ranks collected pledges to break boards and bricks. Silent auctions, baked goods, 50/50 raffle and volunteers from the Packerland HOG Chapter also helped the cause.
The Breast Cancer Family Foundation was founded in 1999 with a mission to “inspire people in our community to lead cancer-free healthy lifestyles”. This is achieved by providing cancer awareness and prevention presentations on all types of cancer to local schools, businesses and community groups.
Dollars raised through this fundraiser will directly support cancer education in our schools locally here in Brown County.
