There’s a new running club in town. Paramount Physical Therapy and Training has started a weekly running club every Wednesday to offer yet another means to create community around fitness in Northeastern Wisconsin.
As a local health and wellness provider in Historic Downtown Suamico, Paramount is committed to creating a culture around healthy living here in Howard-Suamico. And this run club just creates another mode by which to do so.
The Paramount Running Club meets every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at 1774 Riverside Drive in Suamico. The group then leaves from Paramount in typically two separate groups — one of runners and one of walkers — to complete a 3.1 mile (5k) route around Suamico. This route takes the group from Paramount over to and around Idlewild Park and Bay Harbor Elementary School then back to Paramount.
Not interested in just coming for the exercise? Afterwards, the group typically heads over to Station 1 Brewing Company across from Paramount to relax and enjoy the night by the fire with good company. In general, this is an awesome opportunity to build community around fitness in Howard-Suamico.
So come on out on Wednesdays to Paramount in Vickery Village — all are welcome — runners, walkers, kids, and dogs. This is just another example of the awesome sense of community Howard-Suamico has to offer.
