Lions President Art Becker congratulates Tim Rasmussen for winning the Community Service Award.
Tim Rasmussen, President of the Howard-Suamico Historical Society was awarded the Howard-Suamico Lions Club First Annual Community Service Award at its 40th Annual Banquet on Wednesday evening April 5th at Rivers Bend.
Tim is very deserving of the award. He has spent over 20 years doing fire inspecting, serving on the Howard Volunteer Fire Department and providing fundraiser booyahs used to support over 20 different area organizations.
Other volunteer work that Tim Rasmussen has been involved includes the remodel work at the Howard-Suamico Historical Society office, the complete remodel of the Ancestry Acres barn, work on the ramp at the house with the help of the Howard-Suamico Lions Club, and he is currently working on the renovation of the house itself.
Tim Rasmussen is very talented and dedicated to Howard-Suamico.
