The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool will host an Open House on August 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. They have moved to their newly renovated location at 1846 Parkfield Court in Suamico.
The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool began in 1979 as Good Shepherd Preschool. During the last 3 years they have been located in the lower level of CenterPiece, LLC on Lakeview Drive.
With the purchase of the former Bay West True Value Hardware Store, just off of Lineville and Highway 41, they are now in their “forever” home.
The upstairs has been remodeled into 3 expansive classrooms, large multipurpose area, office area and teachers’ lounge/workroom. An elevator will take you to the lower level, which includes a 4K classroom, a large-motor area and rooms for individual/small group speech and language therapy. They are excited that their facility and program will meet the needs of all students enrolled, including the majority of the Howard-Suamico School District’s early childhood special education students.
The Shepherd’s Kids is a non-denominational, non-profit 501 (c) (3) Christian preschool and the largest Howard-Suamico School District 4K partner site.
Their preschool and 4K staff serve God’s children by providing hands-on exploration, outdoor education and developmental curriculum. Each child’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual growth is stimulated within an enriched and nurturing environment.
The Shepherd’s Kids Preschool and 4K site continues to be an important part of the Howard-Suamico community.
