The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, in partnership with the Howard-Suamico Education Foundation, is pleased to announce the third-annual hosting of The Sweet Safari for Education: A Wild Artistic Adventure. This event will be held on Friday, June 8th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park located at 4418 Reforstation Road in Suamico.
The Sweet Safari will feature free samples of “tasty treats” from a variety of local vendors and restaurants. While guests make their way through the zoo to enjoy these delicious samples, they can also participate in several other fun activities, including children’s games, live animal encounters, carousel rides, and more. A special art show, featuring over 100 pieces of artwork from Howard-Suamico School District students, will also be on display for guests to enjoy.
Advance tickets are available at Festival Foods Green Bay West and Suamico; at the Howard-Suamico School District Office; and at the NEW Zoo’s Visitor Center building. Tickets will also be sold online at newzoo.org. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children under 3 will be free.
All proceeds raised during the event will benefit education programs, both at the NEW Zoo and throughout the Howard-Suamico School District.
