Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Green Bay located at 1966 Velp Avenune in the Village of Howard raised $3,089 for Exceptional Equestrians of De Pere at it’s annual Cabin Fever Event on Saturday, February 1st.

The event featured the Soup-R-Bowl Soup Cook-Off in Vandervest’s upstairs banquet facility – Olde 41. Attendees were able to sample delicious soups and vote for the top three by purchasing taste tickets.

Local professional and amateur soup makers were invited to participate in the cook-off.

The mission of Exceptional Equestrians is to provide programs to people with disabilities that are designed to improve cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being through hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and Taking the Lead equine-assisted learning.

“This organization brings joy to so many people through the healing power of horses,” said Lynn Vandervest, one of the owners of Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Green Bay. “Thank you to my family, the Packerland HOG Chapter-Green Bay, and volunteers from Exceptional Equestrians for making our Soup-R-Bowl event this year another huge success.”
