Getting old is not easy — taking care of aging parents is not easy either. After years of seeing seniors and their families struggle through the healthcare system and senior living world, Stacie Hackl decided all seniors deserve to have “a nurse on their side” — someone dedicated to ensure their voice is heard, their Stacie Hackl – Nurse Advocate — helping seniors and their families

During the month of September, the Tim Vanden Heuvel Allstate Insurance Agency in Howard held a school supply drive and collected items to benefit local schools. The supplies were then donated to The Giving Tree to be distributed among the schools. Everyone at the agency thanks all of those who donated supplies to this cause.

Help make the holidays special for children and families in the Howard-Suamico community. The Holiday Store will accept donations for families to purchase at costs that are affordable. The money collected from these purchases will be donated back to The Giving Tree to continue to fulfill its mission. The families that are chosen to shop, Giving Tree’s Holiday Store to help children and families

On September 7th, the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center was burning up with talent as local studios came together to raise awareness and funds for ASPIRO, SOAR Fox Cities, and Fusion Foundation. NEW Fusion Dance and Performing Arts hosted the 2nd annual Back To School Benefit Concert (BTSBC), an event designed to bring area dancers together Area dancers raise money for local organizations

The Y’s Kid’s Day Out program opens its doors when your child’s school closes. They offer two locations that provide full-day programming, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on all official “no school” days. Bring your kids for a fun filled day of swimming, gym, crafts and games. Kid’s Day Out is designed to provide Kids Day Out at YMCA

The Howard-Suamico Lions Club will be holding its second White Cane Drive of the year on Saturday, October 12th. All contributions to the White Cane Drive will be used to help the world wide Lions mission to help prevent blindness and help people see. Over 100 years ago the famous humanitarian, Helen Keller, challenged the H-S Lions White Cane Drive
