Purpose The Howard-Suamico Business & Professional Association would like to provide financial support in the form of a scholarship to several graduating seniors from Bay Port High School who intend to pursue a four-year or technical college degree. Because of the generosity of their caring patients and of the community, over 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food items were collected by the practice of Dr. Tim Meyer and First Impression Dental between October 14 and December 16, 2019. This year’s appeal was just as successful as last years which also collected over 1,000 pounds. Over 1,000 pounds of food collected during annual holiday food drive

Determined to creatively engage their students, Lineville Intermediate School teachers once again turned to local business LaJava Roasting House to help their students develop real world implications for their learning and engage students’ entrepreneurial spirits. Howard-Suamico Lions Club members, Bob and Tina DeBeck, were recently presented with the prestigious Lions International President’s Award at the Lions District Conference in Appleton. The Award is given to Tina and Bob in recognition for their extensive work in bringing diabetes awareness to the Howard-Suamico/Green Bay Area. Diabetes is a growing problem world wide DeBecks receive Lions International President’s Award

Vandervest Harley-Davidson — Green Bay and the Packerland Harley’s Owner Group of Green Bay recently made a donation to M.D.A. Children’s Summer Camp. A check was presented to M.D.A. to help fund their M.D.A. Summer Camp for Kids in the amount of $18,763. Organizers of this year’s Hogopoly Ride For Smiles are grateful for all Vandervest H-D and Harley’s Owner Group present check to M.D.A.

The West Side YMCA will host a Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 7th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. This event will feature carolers, cookie decorating, a bounce house, jingle bell Zumba, photos with Mrs. Claus, face painting, gymnastics and the Booyah Shed Food Truck.
