Students of all ages and ranks collected pledges to break boards and bricks. Silent auctions, baked goods and 50/50 raffle also helped to raise funds. Donations are used by Old Glory Honor Flight to send veterans to see their monuments in Washington, DC. The healthcare team at First Impression Dental is currently running a holiday food drive to support the Salvation Army. Nonperishable donations dropped off at First Impression Dental in Howard will be distributed through the Salvation Army food pantry and its holiday food basket program. The 18th Annual Jerry Parins “Cruise for Cancer” event, which was held at at Vandervest Harley-Davidson of Green Bay, was a huge success acccording to event organizer Lynn Vandervest of Vandervest Harley-Davidson. “The generous hearts of people on that day was something everyone should witness,” said Vandervest. Vandervest said the event drew over 480 riders Cruise for Cancer draws over 480 participants

The Howard-Suamico Historical Society will hold its general membership meeting on Thursday, October 7th, at Lifebridge Church located at 2496 Glendale Avenue in Howard. Wiener Wednesdays held in the parking lot of Josephine’s Pizza & Pastaria at 2560 Glendale Avenue in Howard, raised $250 in donations for the Humane Society. The Humane Society matched the $250 raised, so $500 goes to the dogs. Josephine’s daughter Angelina and friends, Aalliyah, Arianna, Vivianna and Gunner. They started the hot dog sales Josephine’s Wiener Wednesday’s Hot Dog Gang raises $500 for the dogs

St. John the Baptist School will be hosting their annual Fall Harvest Festival on Friday, October 15th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Join them for a fun filled evening for a variety of things to do including plenty of carnival games, face painting, henna tattoos, dunk tank, cake walk, jousting, inflatable bounce house, balloon tying, St. John’s annual Fall Harvest Festival is October 15th
